DESCRIPTION:En résidence à l’institution des Chartreux depuis janvier 2021\, les Nouveaux Caractères se produiront dans le cadre du festival de l’institution « Aux Arts ! ». \nLes cantates romaines \n• «Apollo e Dafne»\nCantate mythologique pour soprano et baryton\nEn 1708\, deux ans après son arrivée à Rome\, Haendel est sollicité pour composer une de ses fameuses cantates dites « romaines ». Cette cantate d’orchestre est un des joyaux de la signature de ce compositeur dont la période italienne a sans\naucun doute teinté ses œuvres suivantes. \n• «Silete Venti»\, motet naturaliste pour soprano\nSilete Venti est un motet en cinq parties pour une voix de soprano. Il est vraisemblablement inspiré par le retour\, en 1729\, de Haendel en Italie. Silete venti est l’un des motets vocalement les plus exigeants du compositeur.
